GST accounting software in Lucknow that keeps the books ready to file every month
Tax ERP issues GST invoices, keeps the ledgers, matches purchases against what suppliers have filed and prepares your return data, so the monthly filing starts from books that already agree.
- GST invoices, ledgers and returns from one set of entries
- Purchase matching before you claim input credit
- E-invoice and e-way bill set up where your business needs them
Filing is easy; the month before it is not
GST returns themselves take minutes. What takes days is the month before: sales invoices from one program, purchase bills in a folder, a supplier who filed late, a credit note nobody entered. The return is only as good as the books it is prepared from.
Tax ERP keeps those books as the business runs. Invoices carry the right HSN or SAC code and tax split; purchases are entered once and matched against what suppliers have reported, so mismatches show up while there is still time to chase them, before input tax credit is claimed.
Businesses above the e-invoicing turnover threshold need each B2B invoice registered with the Invoice Registration Portal; goods movements above the e-way bill limit need a bill before the truck leaves. Where that applies to you, we connect Tax ERP through a GST Suvidha Provider during setup so both are generated from the invoice itself.
Tax ERP is for a business keeping its own accounts. If you are a CA firm managing many clients’ compliance, TaxPilot AI is the product built for that.
Who it is for
- Small and mid-sized businesses keeping their own books
- Traders and manufacturers with high purchase volumes
- Businesses with more than one GSTIN or branch
- Companies that have crossed the e-invoicing threshold
- Finance teams that rebuild GST data in Excel every month
What Tax ERP does
GST invoices and notes
Tax invoices, credit and debit notes with HSN/SAC, place of supply and CGST, SGST or IGST worked out per line.
Ledgers and books
Party ledgers, cash and bank books, journals and trial balance, all from the same entries as the invoices.
Purchase matching
Purchase bills compared with what suppliers have reported, with mismatches listed for follow-up before credit is claimed.
Return data preparation
Outward and inward supply summaries in the shape your returns need, reviewed before filing.
E-invoice and e-way bill
Generated from the invoice where your turnover or consignment requires it, through a GSP connection set up during implementation.
Multi-GSTIN and branches
Separate registrations and invoice series per state or branch, consolidated for the owner.
Bank reconciliation
Bank statements imported and matched against receipts and payments.
Audit trail
Every change to a posted entry is recorded with who made it and when.
How work flows through Tax ERP
- Step 01
Sale invoiced
A GST invoice is raised; the e-invoice is generated if required.
- Step 02

Supplier bills are recorded once and matched against supplier filings.
- Step 03
Payments and bank
Receipts and payments are posted and the bank reconciled.
- Step 04
Month-end review
Mismatches and missing entries are listed and resolved.
- Step 05
Return data ready
Summaries for filing are prepared from the reconciled books.

How we deploy Tax ERP
- 01
Books review
Chart of accounts, registrations and current invoice formats reviewed with your accountant.
- 02
Opening balances
Parties, ledgers and balances migrated as of a clean cut-over date.
- 03
Invoicing live
Invoice series set up per GSTIN; e-invoicing connected where required.
- 04
First month reconciled
The first filing month is reviewed with you before you rely on the data.
- 05
Support and updates
Rate and rule changes handled under the annual support contract.
What we need from you
- GST registrations and invoice formats
- Chart of accounts and opening balances
- Bank accounts in use
- Your accountant’s or CA’s contact for the cut-over
None of it has to be tidy. Discovering that your data is messier than expected is part of the job, not a reason to delay starting.
How a Tax ERP quotation is worked out
We don’t publish a price list, because two businesses rarely need the same setup. After a short call you get a written quotation that separates one-time setup from yearly costs. It depends on:
- Number of GSTINs, branches and users
- Invoice volume and whether e-invoicing is needed
- Migration of opening balances and history
- Integration with your billing or ERP system
- Hosting and the annual support contract
Prices are quoted excluding GST.
When to choose something else
- A CA firm managing client compliance: TaxPilot AI is built for practices
- A business that also needs stock and purchase control: AI ERP includes accounting
Tax ERP — questions buyers ask
Does Tax ERP file GST returns?
It prepares the return data from your books for review. Filing is done on the GST portal by you or your accountant; we set up the export in the shape the returns need.
Do we need e-invoicing?
E-invoicing applies to businesses whose aggregate turnover crosses the threshold set by the GST Council (₹5 crore at the time of writing). If it applies, we connect e-invoice generation during setup.
What does GST accounting software cost?
We quote after a short call, based on GSTINs, users, invoice volume, e-invoicing and support. The quotation separates one-time setup from yearly costs.
How is Tax ERP different from TaxPilot AI?
Tax ERP keeps a business’s own accounts and GST. TaxPilot AI is practice-management software for CA firms handling many clients’ compliance.
Can our CA access the books?
Yes. You can give your CA a user with read or review access, or send exports at month-end.
What happens when GST rates or rules change?
Rate tables and rules are configuration, updated under the support contract. The GST rate rationalisation of September 2025, for example, was a change to item tax rates, not to the software.
