Inventory management software that keeps stock, purchase and payables in step
Inventory & Finance tracks stock across godowns, shops and vans, with batches, expiry and serial numbers where you need them, and ties every receipt and issue to its purchase, payable and value.
- Stock by location, batch and expiry
- Reorder lists from real consumption
- Stock valuation and payables from the same entries
Stock is money sitting still
For a distributor or wholesaler, inventory is usually the largest number on the balance sheet and the least trusted. The software says 120 cartons, the godown has 96, and nobody can say whether the difference is breakage, an unrecorded transfer or a bill entered twice.
Inventory & Finance records every movement where it happens: goods received against a purchase order, transfers between godowns, issues to production or a van, returns and write-offs, each with who did it. Batches and expiry dates are tracked where products have them, and the system picks the earliest expiry first.
Reorder levels are calculated from what actually moves, not from a number someone set two years ago. Purchase orders are raised from the reorder list, and the receipt creates the supplier’s payable at the same time, so accounts and stores never disagree about what came in.
It runs on its own or as the inventory core of AI ERP, and connects to AI POS so store sales reduce stock as they happen.
Who it is for
- Distributors and wholesalers with several godowns
- Pharma, FMCG and cosmetics businesses with batches and expiry
- Retailers with a warehouse feeding several shops
- Businesses that count stock once a year and dread it
- Finance teams that need stock valuation they can defend

How work flows through Inventory & Finance
- Step 01
Reorder list
Items below reorder level are listed with suggested quantities.
- Step 02
Purchase order and receipt
POs are issued; goods are received, labelled and put away.
- Step 03
Transfers and issues
Stock moves to shops, vans or production with a record on both sides.
- Step 04
Sales and returns
Sales reduce stock; returns are inspected and restocked or written off.
- Step 05
Counts and valuation
Cycle counts reconcile stock; valuation and payables are current.

How we deploy Inventory & Finance
- 01
Godown walk-through
Locations, bins and how goods move today.
- 02
Item master cleaned
Duplicates merged, units fixed, batch and expiry flags set.
- 03
Opening stock counted
A physical count sets a clean starting point.
- 04
One location first
The main godown goes live before branches and vans.
- 05
Support
Annual support contract with backups and updates.
What we need from you
- Item list with units, and which items have batches or expiry
- Locations and how stock moves between them
- Supplier list
- Your last stock count, if you have one
None of it has to be tidy. Discovering that your data is messier than expected is part of the job, not a reason to delay starting.
How a Inventory & Finance quotation is worked out
We don’t publish a price list, because two businesses rarely need the same setup. After a short call you get a written quotation that separates one-time setup from yearly costs. It depends on:
- Number of locations and users
- Batch, expiry and serial tracking needs
- Barcode hardware, if you need it
- Integration with your POS or accounting
- Item master clean-up and migration
- Hosting and annual support
Prices are quoted excluding GST.
When to choose something else
- A cosmetics or beauty brand: GlowNest is the ready-made edition for that
- A business that also needs production and sales orders: AI ERP covers inventory with the rest
Inventory & Finance — questions buyers ask
Does it track batches and expiry?
Yes, per item where needed, with earliest-expiry picking and lists of stock nearing expiry.
Can it manage several godowns and shops?
Yes. Each location has its own stock, and transfers are recorded when goods leave and when they arrive.
What does inventory management software cost?
We quote after a short call, based on locations, users, tracking needs, hardware and integrations. The quotation separates one-time setup from yearly costs.
Does it do accounting too?
It keeps stock valuation and supplier payables. For full GST accounting, it connects to Tax ERP, or you can take AI ERP, which includes both.
How do we start if our current stock figures are wrong?
With a physical count at go-live. It sets a clean opening balance, and from then on every movement is recorded.
